Stevenage vs Northampton Town
One side surely heading to League One, the other possibly heading out of the Football League all together.
Northampton are a staggering 11 points clear at the top of League Two and are well on course for promotion, while Stevenage are set to endure a hard slog from now up until the end of the season in a bid to avoid relegation.
Off the field however, The Cobblers have been in the headlines for one of their players urinating in a cup and throwing it off a VIP balcony at the Cheltenham Festival. Striker James Collins has been fined by the club two weeks wages and warned of his future conduct, the Shrewsbury loanee has since apologised for his actions.
Northampton won 2-1 against Stevenage in their last meeting and haven’t lost in the league since December, a massive achievement. Whereas Stevenage have lost their last 4 games but do sit 7 points off the drop zone, but need to pick up wins if they are to stay in the fourth tier of English football.
Stevenage caretaker boss Darren Sarll has issued a rallying call to his players and the supporters in a bid to get their campaign back on track while The Cobblers will want another win to try and forget about the past weeks headlines and focus solely on their promotion charge.
